there's this song from my childhood, one of those Christian tapes with tracks about sharing with your friends and loving Jesus. My fave :) One of them's stuck in my head about what's in a name? there's something very special in a na-a-ame.
So what better way to spend a no-sleep morning than wikipedia-ing Sarah? The wikipedia was all about biblical Sarah. She was originally called Sarai, my princess, because she was the princess of her tribe. Maybe (maybe) people also called her Iscah (Gen 11:29) because she had prophetic visions and was the only woman God addressed directly. Sarah was a prophet, and the first missionary to women in partnership with Abraham, wherever they travelled.
Cool. So if the childhood song is right, and wikipedia is right, I'm a prophet princess missionary. Anyways, I found it kind of funny since I just chose the url, seersayersarah as a somewhat cheeky nod toward mystic prophethood, but more properly just a will to see clearly and say truly, whether it be invisible children or visions from God. All rather exciting, really. Still, I wish hearer had started with that ssss sound. Now I'm happy thinking of music. Joy :)
